Deepika Padukone (born 5 January 1986) is an Indian film actress and model.she pursued a career in
modelling. Deepika started modelling assignment with Lakme fashion week in 2005. Later, she signed many modelling assignments and was awarded as Model of the year in Kingfisher fashion awards. She was a Brand ambassador of Levi Strauss and Tissot SA. She made her cinematic debut in the Kannada Film Aishwarya in 2006 starring opposite actor Upendra.

Deepika padukone made her bollywood entry with Shahrukh Khan's Om shanti Om followed by many superhits like Chennai Express, Cocktail, Ramleela, Piku and many more. She has received many prestigious modelling offers including brand ambassadorship of the Jewels of India and an annual jewellery exhibition.she is a stunning Indian actress and a model who is well known for her presence in Bollywood.
